Since then, he has earned multiple local club tournament victories, claimed a Club Classic Championship title, and qualified for the Delaware State Fishing Team to compete for the regional crown. When it comes to his go-to techniques, Martin relies heavily on the Kraken Tackle Co Squid Stix and Kraken Jigs to get the job done.

Gordon has been tournament bass fishing for over 35 years and has built an impressive list of accomplishments along the way. His résumé includes numerous local club victories, multiple Top 25 finishes on the Bassmaster Kayak Series trail, and qualification for the Bassmaster Kayak National Championship. Alongside his son Gordy, Gordon also played a key role in designing the Kraken Tackle Co G Money Jig and Paycheck Kraw. His go-to setups are the Squid Stix and G Money Jig paired with the Paycheck Kraw — proven combinations that continue to put fish in the boat.

Based out of Milford, Delaware, Gordon Sr. has been competitively bass fishing for over 40 years. His accomplishments include numerous Angler of the Year titles at the club level, along with multiple victories in local open tournaments. After purchasing a kayak in 2021, Gordon discovered a renewed passion for competitive fishing and quickly found success on the kayak tournament trail. His favorite technique is flipping and pitching jigs into heavy cover, primarily using the signature series G-Money Jig, a design inspired by Gordon and his son and produced by Kraken Tackle Co. When the bite gets tough, he turns to the Kraken Squid Stix to help fill out tournament limits. Since entering the kayak tournament scene, Gordon has compiled an impressive record that includes 13 first-place finishes, 11 second-place finishes, and 19 third-place finishes.
